Pushkar left for Mumbai for his treatment on the 18th of May. He had the following update on his FB page on May 16, 2011...
"m leaving for mumbai again for my follow up treatment on wedsday...m really thankful to all my frens n my family for their supports...special thanks n m really garteful to DARJEELING UNLIMITED INC. NORTH AMERICA for raising funds for my treatment."
He was scheduled to have his second Stem Cell Therapy on May 23, 2011.
On receipt of the following letter from his doctor, we have released the funds to him via Western Union on May 22, 2011. The funds totalled to $2794 USD.
We sent him the funds with the following message and the Western Union receipts are also attached.
"Hello Pushkar Bhai,
I hope alls well. I am just sending the details of the money transfer even though I will be talking to you- just in case. I had to send the money in 2 installments as they have a regulation regarding the limits on the amount for each transaction. Since the total collected was $2794, I have sent one for $1300 (Rs. 58,104.02) MTCN #: xxxxxxxxxx and the other for $1494 (Rs. 66,774.93) MTCN #:xxxxxxxx
You will need the MTCN #s when collecting the money and you have to give my name as the sender.
All of us wish you the very best for your surgery."
We are hoping to get a confirmation from Pushkar when he receives the money.
